Buddhist Proverb:
“Don’t push the river, it will flow at its own pace anyway.”
Regarding our spiritual evolution, it is recommended to imagine time as a river, although we should not measure it chronologically, but rather according to the lessons we learn, on the way to immortality. So don’t push the river of time. We can fight the current or choose to merge with it. Impatience robs us of the joy of peace and happiness… In reality, things come to us when we are ready. Patience is linked to understanding. It allows us to have the necessary detachment and to take the necessary step back to see things clearly, especially from a higher perspective of consciousness.
MEDITATION and CONTEMPLATION are the servants of Patience.
